P.A.R.E.N.T.S., Inc. is seeking a Voluntary Case Manager to work a minimum of 40 hours a week, which may include nights and weekends, to further our mission of strengthening families in the prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect. The overall goal of the position is to mitigate the risk of child abuse and/or neglect to the families that are referred to the program from Child Protective Services (CPS). Responsibilities includle, but are not limited to: Provide ongoing support and expertise to families through assessment, planning and implementation and evaluation of the family’s needs, as well as accountability for the care, coordination and discharge planning with the family. Must work cooperatively and effectively with the Program Director, VCM Supervisor and support staff in providing quality assurance for programs,; maintain the organization’s goals and objectives that focus on honesty, integrity, communication, and leadership. Must have the knowledge, skills and ability to work with a wide range of individuals, community groups, and systems of care. Must be self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision. Must adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Development, or related field from an accredited institution. Preferred: Master’s Degree.
Required: Minimum 1 year of experience in working with families at risk for child abuse and neglect. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to travel frequently to all areas of East Hawaii. Must own motor vehicle that can hold car seats and children. Must retain appropriate levels of insurance as mandated by contractual requirements. Must be proficient with MS Office products, including Word and Excel.
