PARENTS, Inc. is receiving a $10,000 check from the Weinberg Foundation’s Weinberg Friends Program through the Pali Lions Club community service project, to be held at King Intermediate School commencing at 8:00a.m. The check presentation to PARENTS, Inc. will take place at 10:00 a.m. The Pali Lions Club will be building benches and painting bathrooms at the school, with the help of the Kaneohe Lions, Kahaluu Lions, Manawalea Lions, Koolaupoko Lions, Pearl City Lions and Mana Loa Nimitz Lions Clubs.
Everyone is invited to come on down and lend a hand! PARENTS, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization that has been serving Hawaii’s families since 1975. Our purpose is family strengthening, and prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect. We provide a full range of prevention, education, and treatment services for all family members. All services are multi-ethnic, non-judgmental, non-threatening, supportive and easily accessible.
